Schindler Remote Monitoring™: Always On The Clock
Schindler Remote Monitoring™ (SRM) is available on all new Schindler elevators and escalators, as well as certain modernization products. With SRM, your equipment can be closely monitored — around the clock, 365 days a year — by ‘intelligent’ electronic systems that can detect non-conformances or even subtle changes in your equipment’s performance.
SRM will monitor your equipment for alarms and malfunctions, allowing Schindler to respond proactively, without waiting for a call from the building. SRM can even transmit problem descriptions and diagnostic routines directly to your service technician to help streamline the process. If there is an interruption of service, Schindler will know about it within minutes. Overall, Schindler Remote Monitoring can help improve equipment uptime by at least 20%.
