High Performance Roller Guide Shoe

The R300 guide shoe has been designed to deliver the smoothest possible ride in the new generation of high speed elevators; important because guide shoes can influence ride comfort more than any other component in an elevator system.

Average ride quality improvements with the R300 roller guide shoe measure 25% to 50%, depending on age of equipment and conditions in the hoistway.

Large 12" diameter rollers have a long footprint on the rail which spreads loads and gives a smooth compliant ride over rail joints.

The rollers' large diameter reduces rotational speed and dynamic load. This results in a low rate of wear and minimized cyclic excitation.

Polyurethane tires absorb rolling noise and smooth out small irregularities in the guide rails.

Independently adjustable sprining and damping on all rollers allow guide shoe setup to be optimized for each specific installation.
