Marketing and Sales
Providing our customers what they need and when they need it
Although salespeople tend to be extroverted and communicative, sales is also about listening. Listening to our customers’ needs, concerns, expectations and experiences; and then responding to that and providing them with the solutions that fit best.
Schindler marketing and sales people are responsible for one of the key fundamentals of our business: selling our products and services. They attain these by establishing and developing a solid business relationship with our customers, communicating and responding professionally, and developing solutions in a proactive manner. Therefore it is critical for them to work as team players because they often have to rely on experts in other areas to support them. They are also highly visible throughout the organization, particularly due to senior management’s involvement with large sales contracts. This is why a sales position is considered to be one of the best opportunities to start a career with Schindler.
The sales team also receives support from the corporate communications team who can provide information such as brochures, sales manuals, and trade show support.
We offer both management as well as other careers in the sales area, for example taking care of key customers or selling highly specialized products. High potential employees may also have the opportunity to gain international experience.
We offer both full-time and internship positions in the following areas:
  • Account management
  • New business development
  • Sales processing
