Compliance with laws and give advice to the business
To succeed as a Schindler attorney, you must be knowledgeable regarding both legal and business topics.  This dual expertise allows the department to better fulfill its role in counseling all business functions, and in helping to assure compliance with the both the law and internal policies and requirements.
In addition, the Law department ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, which allows us to provide service to federal government and state-managed or owned facilities. Furthermore, installation, service, repair, modernization and vendor agreements are carefully reviewed and negotiated to reduce the potential for economic risk to the Company. Our Law department also plays a vital role in areas such as the protection of our intellectual property, managing litigation, product support, commercial transactions, employment and labor issues and providing effective training to both management and employees.
We offer a variety of opportunities within the department. High potential employees may also have the opportunity to gain some global experience.

To be a candidate for an Attorney position with our company, you should possess the following educational background, skills and traits:
  • Juris Doctor
  • Good business orientation, comfort working with all hierarchical levels within Schindler, domestic and international
