We succeed through our people. You can observe and influence how this works especially in the Human Resources department at Schindler. Building a partnership with our line management, we develop and implement programs to execute our strategy by recruiting, promoting and developing the right people into the right positions.
Schindler has developed and successfully implemented programs such as Schindler University, an educational program with specialized coursework for branch and district managers, superintendents, engineers, sales and project managers. Furthermore, we actively source high potential candidates with recent advanced degrees for the Schindler Career Development Program. This program is designed to prepare these select employees to take on key leadership positions after successfully completing a four to six year intensive rotational program.
But hiring and management development are not the only areas of focus for our HR team. We train our workforce in general, specialized, and technical areas of the business, support the line management in change situations as well as make certain our compensation and benefits packages are competitive. We also ensure compliance with EEO/Affirmative Action and Safety laws. In all these areas, Schindler offers both domestic and international growth opportunities.
