These functions and departments are responsible for both our current financial well-being as well as our future success. Business Development explores further growth opportunities by buying smaller companies as well as by moving into new areas and technologies. Together with Profit Assurance and Internal Auditing, they are involved in many special projects and initiatives.

Both the Business Development and the Profit Assurance areas build an internal consulting team. Business Development deals with outside opportunities and their integration after a successful acquisition, whereas Profit Assurance evaluates internal processes and procedures to make sure that profitability objectives can be met. Internal Audit is an element of Schindler North America's corporate governance system, providing core assurance to key risks within business processes to the top management and ensuring compliance with external regulations and the internal control framework. Internal Audit helps local management to achieve the most profitable level of operation, aid in maximizing their staff efficiency, provide assistance whenever requested and stimulates learning regarding risk management.

We offer both management as well as specialist careers in these fields. As acquisitions and projects often deal with international issues, there may be opportunities available for development abroad.

Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in finance, accounting or M&A
