Efficiency and quality drive urban mobility
Schindler has four manufacturing facilities in North America. The Gettysburg, Pennsylvania plant manufactures hydraulic as well as traction elevators for the USA and Canada. Elevator Products Company (EPCO), an affiliated company from Wayne, New Jersey, markets and manufactures customized fixtures and is recognized as a quality leader in product and design. In Sidney, Ohio, we repair printed circuit boards for all types of elevators. And in Clinton, North Carolina, our escalator manufacturing complex is a strong contributor to Schindler's leadership in escalators worldwide.
Our ISO certified factories work along the basic rules “do it right the first time” and “on-time delivery”. We manage our highly skilled and trained employees with team-building tools and techniques. And of course there is a continuous improvement process in place and it has to be managed. Therefore we are looking for qualified people that have the ability and the will to support us in this process. In return, we offer development opportunities in the USA as well as internationally.

To improve your candidacy for a manufacturing position with our company, you should possess the following skills and traits:
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, production engineering, quality engineering, or purchasing, or an associate’s degree in drafting or related areas
- Work comfortably in a competitive environment
